At Jambolux African Safaris, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, while helping us maintain the quality and reliability of our safari operations.
1. Client-Initiated Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to:
📧 travel@jamboluxsafaris.africa
Refund eligibility depends on the number of days before your scheduled safari:
| Notice Period Before Safari | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| 60+ days | 90% refund |
| 30–59 days | 70% refund |
| 15–29 days | 50% refund |
| 7–14 days | 25% refund |
| Less than 7 days | No refund |
📝 All refunds exclude non-recoverable costs (e.g., bank fees, park permits, accommodation already paid).
2. No-Show Policy
-
If you fail to arrive for your scheduled safari or arrive too late to join, no refund will be issued.
3. Trip Modifications
-
Postponements may be accommodated (based on availability) if requested at least 14 days before the trip.
-
An administrative fee may apply for changes to dates, accommodation, or group size.
4. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events
If a safari is cancelled or disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disaster, political unrest, epidemic), we will work to:
-
Reschedule the trip, or
-
Issue a credit voucher valid for 12 months, or
-
Provide a partial refund depending on recoverable costs
