Weather

The best time for a safari in Kenya is during the dry seasons, from June to October and January to February, when wildlife is more easily spotted.

Pack lightweight clothing for the day, a warm jacket for early mornings and evenings, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Don’t forget comfortable shoes and a waterproof jacket for unexpected rain.

Daytime temperatures can range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) depending on the region and time of year. Nights and early mornings can be cooler, so layers are recommended.

Our safaris run year-round, and our guides are experienced in making the most of all weather conditions. Rain can sometimes enhance the experience by making wildlife more active and landscapes more vibrant.
